What are the objectives of this program?

Increase regular and on-going participation opportunities in sport, recreation or structured physical activity in a sustainable manner.

Facilitate long-term change that will benefit people facing barriers to participation in sport, recreation and structured physical activity.

Develop the skills of volunteers and capacity of community organisations that provide participation opportunities.

Build the capacity of a community organisation to enhance their provision of sport and recreation services.

Provide accreditation or training to enable sport, recreation and physical activity programs to be conducted in locations across NSW and for specific communities.

NSW incorporated, community based not-for-profit organisations

NSW Local Government Authorities operating under the Local Government Act, 1993

Grants from $500 – $10,000

GO BELLO GO

All individual children in the Bellingen Shire attending School are encouraged to apply. Funding starts at $80.00 for Regional Events and up to $300.00 for National and International Events when available.

With the assistance of our sponsors and many volunteers we have to date subsidised over 400 children. We believe our contribution helps make real the opportunity to succeed for those who have earned the right to participate at this high level of sporting achievement.

Given the high demand for our financial support, we are asking for yours.

We are seeking gifts, vouchers and donations to be included in our monthly raffles and bi-yearly “pick a box” fund raising drives.

Without the help of local individuals and Businesses we cannot continue to provide support to families in their endeavours to get their children to events.

Donations can be made at Bananacoast Credit Union Bellingen, Diggers Tavern Bellingen or via post to 319 North Bank Road Bellingen.

We are very happy to collect goods to be raffled as prizes once notified.

I urge you to consider the kiddies and dig deep. It may well be your children or grand children relying on our help.
