The Sebel Hotel is located opposite the beautiful Albert Park Lake and will conveniently host all the conference sessions and social functions.
The 13th National Conference on Volunteering aims to provide a national forum to:
· Initiate discussion, debate and analyse issues affecting volunteering
· Discover new technologies that can affect or support volunteering
· Examine initiatives that will grow volunteering and promote best practice in volunteering

Wollongong City Council will present on virtual volunteering, Maribyrnong City Council has a presentation on community business partnerships, and City of Tea Tree Gully will talk about their public library meets the changing needs of their city’s volunteers, Mosman Municipal Council Act: a local Government approach to volunteering
Topics of particular interest to local government may include youth volunteering, corporate volunteering, training and skills development, recognition for volunteers, sponsorships and grants, developing community partnerships and spontaneous volunteering.
