The type of work I am looking for is Administration focusing a the financial side of things.
I have exceptional knowledge of QuickBooks and love working with the program. I have had basic training in payroll using MYOB and found it a similar program and wouldn’t have any trouble picking it up..
As I mentioned during our conversation I am looking into studying for either my Certificate IV in Financial Service or Certificate III in Business Administration via correspondence. I may commence this in January 2010.
I have the capability to multi task and have had to step up as Manager of a wholesale company when the director was absent. For this role I maintained a level head and prioritised situations when they came to hand. I controlled all aspects of the business from taking sales orders, picking of the orders, organising deliveries through to invoicing.
Ideally I would love a job with security such as a bank, school, council or any government department however, I am looking at alternative avenues.
My last position ceased when work for my husband ended in the Northern Territory. We did not want to move anymore so the family relocated here which is where we are staying.
